Cupping therapy is an ancient form of alternative medicine in which suction cups are used during treatment. The practice is believed to be over 2,000 years old and is used throughout the world.

Through suction, your skin is drawn gently upwards by creating a vacuum in a cup. The cup can then be left in place for a period of time or can be moved around by your therapist.

The vacuum lifts connective tissue and is believed to release rigid tissue, loosen adhesions and help relieve pain.
